Welcome to Angela Rethwisch Photography! I am a lifestyle/documentary photographer located in Wayne, America as we say here in Northeast Ne. My style is mostly candid with a little posed mixed in, but my true love is capturing the unexpected. I want you to cherish the images that I create of you and your families for years to come!

My Story

I grew up on a small farm in Northeast Nebraska where animals and being outside was my first love. After graduating with a M.S. in Animal Science at Michigan State University I came back home and got married to my crazy and fun loving husband. We proceeded to have three children and I wanted to document them more but my point and shoot just wasn't cutting it. I bought my first big girl camera about three years ago and the rest is history! I am self taught and love continuing to learn new methods and techniques during this crazy photography journey. I am a mom first, but love all the children, families, and couples that come to me and trust me to capture their moments. In my spare time I help with our family farm and enjoy helping my children ride and show horses and get to show some on my own when I can. You also might find us at the dragstrip on the weekends while we cheer my husband on in his hobby of drag racing.
